In the recent Singapore Budget 2018 that was announced on 19th February 2018.
The Buyer Stamp Duty of 3% will be increased to 4% for residential properties worth $1 million and above taking effect on the 20th of February 2018. However the buyer stamp duties for residential properties below $1 million dollars remains unchanged.
For commercial and industrial properties buyer stamp duties are still at 3%.
The new calculation for buyer stamp duties are as follows.
